Match report
A great day in Sussex yesterday and a convincing win for the Grannies!
Grannies put the OAs in to bat and a good bowling and fielding performance restricted the OAs to 114. H.Wilkinson and W.Dunn put in a tidy opening bowling partnership with Will taking 3 wickets and Wilko taking a wicket and only conceding 8 runs in his 6 overs. Good bowling shifts from J.Baxter, S.Harwood, Pete S-W and T.Wright also!
The Grannies knocked off the total conceding just 3 wickets. A good opening partnership from Kit S-W and T.Morrissey put the Grannies in a commanding position, backed up with solid performances from M.Ahmad, unbeaten on 28, and S.Harwood, unbeaten
on 47, to get the Grannies over the line!
Well done all! COYG...
