Match report

A strong and youthful Grannies line up, sadly played a not very good Marden side.
This resulted in the Grannies winning by 95 runs.
Due to the circumstances it was decided Marden would bat, reaching 195 for 4 off 29.3 overs, with a number of retirements to ensure all those got a bat that wanted one.

The result did not matter as the game was played that everyone could enjoy it and be involved in some way.
Our designated umpire was very impressed with everyone's attitude and spirit and is very happy to return again next year.
