Contributions from Sachin Wijeratne (21) and Ollie Martyn-Hemphill (6) helped push the total to a respectable score. The Grannies CC Innings

The Grannies started their chase confidently, with Ben Hope scoring a quick 23 off 25 balls before being caught by Amaan Goodwin off Omar Hatteea's bowling. S White struggled to find form, making just 7 off 34 balls, but Laurence Hancock steadied the innings with a solid 51 off 48 balls, striking 8 boundaries.

T Penton (35) and S Pougatch (54 off 39 balls) kept the momentum going in the middle order, with Pougatch playing an aggressive knock, hitting 8 fours and 1 six. Despite regular wickets falling, the lower order provided just enough resistance, with Rory Bethwaite (8) and K Dixon-Smith (12*) ensuring The Grannies stayed in the hunt.

In a nail-biting finish, The Grannies reached the target of 247, finishing on 250/8 in 46.1 overs, securing a thrilling 2-wicket victory. Omar Hatteea was the pick of the Hurlingham bowlers, claiming 3/62, while George Brooksbank chipped in with 3/34. Hugo Peterson took 2/55, but it wasn't enough to stop The Grannies from clinching the win.
