Match report
And to remind you of the more painful results :
1. The Rocking chair for the best score went to Tim Hamilton with 32 points , followed by : Creffield 28, Begg, Staniforth and Draffan with 27, Russell and Bedford with 25, Slocock and Sykes with 23, Rayer with 22 and the wooden spoon to Percival with 20 points, excuse for which was 36 holes of golf and a 3 hour lunch on the previous day.
2. The 2 man team prize went to Hamilton & Russell with 57 points, followed by Creffield & Bedford with 53 , Rayer & Staniforth with 49, Begg, Percival & Draffan with 49 pro rata and Slocock & Sykes with 46.
3. Longest drive to Hamilton ( again !)
4. Nearest the pin -Staniforth ( I think or was it someone else ?!)
5. The most outrageous shot prize went to Bedford for nearly decapitating Russell standing within 20 yards at 45 degrees.
6. Everyone else won a prize of 6 second hand balls found by my dog and Hamilton thankfully relieved me of my late mother’s canvas golf bag.
