Match report

The Turks batted first and declared on 200-8, leaving us 32 overs to knock them off.

We ultimately fell two runs short with 198-7.

Lots of good performances but late replacement George, a friend of candidate Olly Butler, top scored with 79.

Wickets were broadly shared amongst an excellent bowling attack.

Special mention to Teyun Tapper, a young lad who hit a spirited 20 in no time at all and almost won us the game.

Thank you to all who played and to Toby Sykes for skippering in Jonny Morris's stag do related absence.
