Match report
A sudden dearth of pace caused by a couple of late substitutions left the Grannies rather toothless from the outset. Pari's crafty late swing had the oppo tied in knots at times but not enough to worry them. Will Siebert's ball of the century managed to silence the pub landlord for all of 15 seconds but it was a true classic.
Gibbo and SIebs put up a stout defence but in the end some rather lacklustre Grannies batting combined with pressure from the raucous crowd so us get to the pub in good time for supper.
A true family affair this year with a combined total of five fathers and sons playing in the match.
Great fun as ever, especially Snowy being referred to as a 'circuit judge' be the General.
