Another fabulous day in an iconic setting and as usual it was a run fest...but this year the Grannies successfully chased an imposing target.
Thanks to all who played and especially for Scottie for picking up the captaincy in the absence of the match manager.

What more do I have to say than this game is played on one of the foremost private estates in the country. The lunches and teas are legendary, the welcome warm, the bar is well stocked. A beautiful ground in a beautiful estate - this game is perfect to bring the family along to. Roll out the picnic blanket, watch Lord Carnarvon updating the scoreboard and the Grannies running around in the field.
For those who still watch ITV, this estate is where Downtown Abbey is filmed.
