Match report

This year was a bit of a struggle to get a decent team together and this showed with our bowlers struggling to make progress against a decent batting side led by Mike Chitty the Ashfold School headmaster. They declared on 221 for 3 wickets at tea.

In response, only Olly Reilly of the top order batsmen, drafted in from local club Cublington to aid us on the day managed to weather their tight bowling attack, making 53. The Grannies' tail failed to wag and we were all out for 136 giving the Gravediggers victory after last year's draw.
