Match report
A game of two halves.
The first half was having inserted the Gents we made inroads into their batting line up and at lunch they were 65 - 3 Sam Weston Simons and Jon Staniforth taking wickets and Mike Fernie bowling very tightly. After lunch more wickets fell but this brought their ringer to the crease (Two of their side were away harvesting!)The old phrase catches win matches was very apparent as having been dropped on 12 he went on to make 74, before Jon S returned to take his and two more wickets to bag 5 - 54. Sam Weston Simons took 2 for 28 of 14 overs, a herculean effort. The Gents scored 214 - 9
The over half, our innings, is to be glossed over apart from a stunning 96 from Jim Streeter before he was run out. No one else got going which was truly disappointing as we were bowled out for 146 with 6 overs remaining.

All day game venue to be decided forms part of a two game weekend so preference for those that can commit to two days.
